EEMA (Event and Entertainment Management Association) the apex body for event managers along with the entertainment fraternity decided to show solidarity conducted simultaneous events in Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and our very own Chennai, to raise funds for the Kashmir Flood situation.

The idea of creating multiple simultaneous live events showcases the strength, diversity and unity of our country; it also demonstrates the growing strength of the live and event management industry across the country. Bringing the country together, is at the core of the initiative that we are building.

HUM HAIN: Umeed-e-Kashmir is working alongside several NGOs, Government bodies, celebrities and civilians to give the cause a unified voice.

As human beings and as Indians we need to do all that we can to help our countrymen in need. The plight of the people of Jammu & Kashmir is a matter of concern and the floods have only made it worse. All that we do simply won’t be enough to meet the various challenges facing the people; but every drop counts.

As a run-up to this event, Assam and Vizag too were devastated by the floods and they have been included for relief and rehabilitation.

Raindropss Musical DIWALI KONDATTAM with 200+ less privileged children

RAINDROPSS a youth based social organization from Chennai founded by Aravind Jayabal is well known for delivering social awareness messages to the public through entertainment and media. Music Director A.R.Raihanah (Oscar winning music composer A.R.Rahman's sister) is the Brand Ambassador of Raindropss.

Raindropss celebrated this year Diwali musically with 200+ lovely kids from Sevalaya and Seers Girls Home at Spencer Plaza on Saturday (18th Oct 2014).  It was an evening of Music, Dance, Magic and Games. Film songs, old and new was rendered by Udhaya Raagam U.K.Murali and his group.

The evening began with the Magic performance of Master Mrythilesh, with the battery of  Music director Srikanth Deva and leading playback singers Veeram fame Magizhini Manimaran, Georgina, Aravind, Sonia and Kaviya  - the children overcame their shyness and danced. On this wonderful occasion, an album presented by Anita Rao, The UK Style music by U.K.Murali was released by Srikanth Deva admist the lovely kids.

Velammal Educational Trust, apart from providing transportation for the children, sponsored the snacks. Gifts and dinner were given to the associations by Raindropss. Yuva media, Noise & Grains and Bigg event were part of this meaningful celebration.

Upcoming project of Raindropss is "Maatram Thaedi - Be the Change 2015" Annual Calender, featuring achievers across all walks of life, funds raised will support the education of children living with HIV.

Kashmir flood relief fund raising programme

“HUM HAIN…Umeed-e-Kashmir”- a concert to be held on 18th October, 2014 at Sir Mutha Venkatasubarao Concert hall at 06:30 pm in the city featuring singer and actress Andrea, Lakshmi Rai, Sakthisree Gopalan, Srinivas, Haricharan, Suchi, Ranjith, Rahul Nambiar, Tiruchur Brothers and many film celebrities.

Disclosing this addressing a press conference Siddharth Ganeriwala, Convenor, Hum Hain Kashmir initiative here in The Leela Palace Hotel, the entire entertainment industry appeal to people to attend in large numbers and help them raise funds for J&K flood victims.

The highlight of this campaign it is unique and never happened before.  Live events will be held simultaneously for the same cause, same date, same time in Five cities such as Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata and Jaipur.

This is an initiative of entertainment industry led by the Event and Entertainment Management Association (EEMA).

The stars will appeal and urge people to donate to key NGOs and specified Disaster Relief Funds in support of the Kashmir relief project.

All artists, vendors have volunteered their support and service which is a really and must be appreciated.

Again he reached LOS ANGELES, this time he got an opportunity to assist Jarmo. Again same hard work and creative skills admire them very much. Again he came back to home country and this time here he prepared lot of new concepts, Third time he got a call to assist a photo shoot in Miami USA, Every time he don’t want to miss the opportunity so he reach the seminars conduct by the magazine. He went Miami to work as a assistant but suddenly he got a chance to shoot one super model, This is the time he waits for.  He converts is possibilities into opportunities.  Immediately he planned for concepts and did a photo shoot. That shoot reviewed by seven various directors of PLAY BOY Enterprises USA.  And they finalized the shoot and approved to release in PLAY BOY SLOVENIA magazine.

Bang Bang crosses 200 crore mark!

Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif starrer Bang Bang continued its tremendous run at the box office as it dashed past the magic 200 crore number in just 5 days. The film collected 15.36 crore on Monday (21.94 crore gross), taking the total India collections to 109.49 crore nett (156.41 crore gross). In the international markets, Bang Bang collected 45.10 crore as its strong run across all territories continues. The total collection of Bang Bang is now at 201.51 crore gross.

It was a moment for celebration for the entire team of this Siddharth Anand directorial as it entered the coveted 100 crore club at the Indian box office on Monday afternoon.

The film has also smashed all records held so far in international markets as it emerged as the highest opening film of 2014. It is the biggest opener this year across all key markets like Middle East, UK, US, Australia, Pakistan among others. Bang Bang marks Hrithik's highest opening weekend in India and overseas as he beat Krrish 3, Agneepath and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara collections. This is the third biggest opening for Katrina Kaif after Dhoom 3 and Ek Tha Tiger. The numbers in Middle East  are mind-boggling as it collected $2,349,271 – making it the second highest Bollywood opening ever after Dhoom 3! In Pakistan, Bang Bang has created a new record as it collected $320,000 over the weekend.

SHAH RUKH KHAN RECEIVES GLOBAL DIVERSITY AWARD

Shah Rukh Khan has been presented with the Global Diversity Award at the State Room of Britain’s House of Commons in London on 4th October 2014.

The Award was presented by the British Parliament by the 136th Leader of the office of Speaker Rt Hon John Bercow MP. Rt Hon Keith Vaz MP, Chair of the Home Affairs committee conducted the grand ceremony.

Other members of the Parliament from both houses, Commons and Lords were also present on this occasion. SRK received the award for his work in cinema ahead of his Slam+ The Tour concert at The O2 Arena.

Rainbow Foundation which co-ordinates with the Next Foundation each year, the award of the “Global Diversity Award” to an outstanding individual who has made a major contribution to Worldwide Diversity, is an international role model and icon.

Previous recipients of the Award have included: Jackie Chan, the International film Star, Amitabh Bachchan, Sheikh Hassina, the Prime Minister of Bangladesh; Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Lewis Hamilton, the Formula 1 Racing World Champion and Rev Jesse Jackson, the former US Presidential Candidate to name a few.

DIRECTOR MANIRATNAM WELCOMES KABILAN VAIRAMUTHU’S MEINIGARI

Ace Director Maniratnam received the first copy of Kabilan Vairamuthu’s Meinigari – A novel based on reality television. 

It was a happy moment for Kabilan who says “It was the same legend who released my fourth poetry collection back in 2004. Here again, I had the honor of handing him my third novel. A big thanks to the legend”. 

A week ago, the novel’s website was launched to introduce the characters involved - a first of its kind effort.
