Raindropss uses the social networks in right way and raised Rs. 80,000 for Jammu & Kashmir - Prime Ministe's National Relief fund



RAINDROPSS a youth based social organization from Chennai founded by Aravind Jayabal is well known for delivering social awareness messages to the public through entertainment and media. Music Director A.R.Raihanah (Oscar winning music composer A.R.Rahman's sister) is the Brand Ambassador of Raindropss.

It's a heartburn situation we had in Jammu & Kashmir due to the unforeseen flood recently. Raindropss always stand for a cause and extend full support by joining hands for noble initiatives.

Social networking is being our best way to reach wider crowd and it has become a must channel among youngsters.Raindropss commenced a noble initiative named as "Raindropss KASHMIR's 100rs Challenge initiative", believing that many of our 100’s can definitely make a difference in thousands of our brothers and sisters affected in JAMMU & KASHMIR flood. The call was made to all the helping hearts through the powerful media "FACEBOOK", with a note as people interested to support the cause, can donate by giving minimum of 100rs filled Cheque / DD in the favor of "PRIME MINISTER's NATIONAL RELIEF FUND", it’s true that the power of social media again proved.

"We wanted to use social networking sites for the noble initiatives and prove that young minds always think different and unique. We received enormous response from our supporters across the globe including Dubai, Singapore and various parts of India. JATAYU- a team of energetic college going students who took Raindropss has an inspiration, have also joined hands with us in this initiative and supported us well, which is truly a commendable effort. We are very proud that on a total we were able to raise an amount of Rupees Eighty thousand (INR 80,000) through this noble initiative. The very aim of the fund is to help all our sisters and brothers struggling to get their priceless life back in Jammu and Kashmir. The raised funds will be sent to Prime Minister's Office directly", says Aravind, Founder & Creative Head of Raindropss.

Upcoming projects of Raindropss are Diwali Kondattam with 100's of less privileged children's from various homes this October and their annual calendar launch featuring achievers across various walks of life in November to support the education of children with HIV.
