Bang Bang, has created history

Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif’s action romance, Bang Bang, has created history. The film directed by Siddharth Anand, has collected 27.54 crore nett at the Indian box office and has blasted it’s way into the top 5 movie openings of all time in Bollywood. Now the top 5 openers are as follows – Dhoom 3, Chennai Express, Ek Tha Tiger, Singham Returns and Bang Bang.
Tamil Nadu had a fantastic opening; the opening day Box office is the 2nd highest of all time for any Bollywood film after Dhoom 3.
In Kerala, all records were broken as the film not only had the widest release for a Bollywood film, but the opening day shattered all previous Box office records, being the No.1 of all time.
Andhra pradesh and Nizam opened to 90% collections, despite the release of a big local Telugu film.
Bang Bang is riding high on incredibly positive word of mouth from audiences.
The film marks Hrithik’s biggest opening of his career. This means Katrina Kaif now has three out of five films in the highest opening of all time – a feat that none of the other actresses in Bollywood have.
With never-seen-before action sequences, Hrithik and Katrina looking absolutely stunning with each other, super hit music, Hrithik back to dancing and a pacy story – the hottest film of 2014 was expected to take a humongous start the the box office and it did.
Bang Bang opened across the country at 90 percent occupancy and continued it’s glorious run at the counters through the day.
